Amidst a worsening cyber threat landscape where everything can (and probably will) be hacked, unidirectional security gateways (USG) offer air-gap levels of security without sacrificing communication. In this paper, we explore the challenges in IT-OT convergence, the latest OT security frameworks, and four ways a USG can protect a critical infrastructure facility.
